about

Sarah Woolner - headshot landscape.jpg

Naturopath. Mother. Nature lover.

I am a degree-qualified naturopath based in Canberra. I work primarily in women’s health to support hormonal disorders, immune dysfunction, and mental health.

I am a mother to Mia, my two-year-old daughter. I love a good, strong coffee and dark salted chocolate.

As an introvert, time in nature is my ultimate elixir and is what nourishes my soul.

study

I have a life-long love for learning. So far, I have completed two bachelor degrees in science and health. I am currently completing a masters degree in mental health.

When I was younger I wanted to study medicine and become a doctor. I am hopelessly queasy at the sight of needles, surgeries and gaping wounds - so very thankful that I discovered naturopathy.

food

My favourite meal is authentic Italian-style pizza, shared with family, friends and a lovely glass of shiraz.

I enjoy vegetable juices, but not really a fan of smoothies.

A good strong coffee and salted dark chocolate is my happy place.

life

Motherhood is a big part of my life at the moment. I have an incredibly busy and beautiful almost 2 year old, Mia. Every day she teaches me something.

Autumn is my favourite season. I love the colour changes in nature and the subtly cooler weather. The pace of life slows up a little, which the introvert in me loves.

We are building a little produce garden in our backyard. I don’t have a particularly green thumb, but I am really enjoying the process of learning all about organic gardening.

what we are about

EMPOWERING YOU

In both clinical practice and with the information that is shared here on The Natural Medicine Tree, the ultimate goal is to empower you. Education and empowerment are by far the most powerful tools that I can offer to support you in achieving optimal health and wellbeing.

CREATING COMMUNITY

Connection is a really important aspect of both physical and mental wellbeing. My hope with this little space, is to create a place where you can find reliable health information and feel part of a supportive, non-judgemental community. We are all doing the best we can with the information that we have.

1:1 SUPPORT

If you would like more individualised support, I offer 1:1 naturopathic consultations. 1:1 consultations provide the opportunity to explore your specific health concerns in detail, understand your values and health goals, develop an individualised treatment approach and provide ongoing guidance and support. You can read more about the consultation process here.
