Hello there. I am Sarah Woolner, a naturopath practicing in Brookvale on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches.
I am a classic introvert, so talking about myself does not come naturally. Actually, I am much more comfortable listening than talking.
Exploring nature replenishes my energy and I feel most at home by the ocean. Salt water and sunshine are daily essentials for me. Yoga keeps me calm and centred. More recently, i have discovered reformer pilates. I LOVE it!
In the kitchen, I love creating simple and wholesome meals. Raspberry and rosemary is one of my favourite flavour combinations (A gelato flavour I discovered in San Gimignano in Italy). Salted dark chocolate is my idea of a sweet treat. I also love a good green veggie juice.
Sustainable food and lifestyle practices and generally being kind to the Earth are also high on my priority list. I strive to live a simpler life and adore the minimalist movement.
Providing reliable health information
The chatter around health and wellbeing is getting louder and louder. As a clinician, I think this is fantastic. However, as more and more health information becomes available, confusion and overwhelm starts to surface. It can be difficult to know what is legitimate health information and what is not. And unfortunately there is often a lot of product marketing weaved into “health information”. I hope to break down some of these barriers for you, by not only providing accurate and referenced health information, but also by showing you how to discern fact from fiction and what quality, factual information actually looks like.
